We enjoyed our stay at Merwen’s place which is close to everything. We are literally two minutes away from place du Quebec which is the tour pick up place for all tours around Bayeux, Dday tour, mont st michel… this makes our life much easier and spare more time for rest.

Merwens place was so charming and comfortable . Location was great ! Loved being about to walk right into the old town with shops and food . Would stay here again in a heartbeat !

When you first drive up to the location it is hard to find because the doorway is not numbered, this would be a simple fix to make it easier. The key is very hard to turn while in the lock and the front steps are very steep and narrow. However the location makes up for these issues as it is right around the corner from main shopping street, less than 5 minutes walk to Tapestry and about 5 minutes walk to the cathedral. The parking lot is very convenient, parking is free over night and the pass provided with the apartment provides 4 hours per day of free parking. It was very helpful that there was coffee, tea, sugar and laundry detergent provided although washing machine is very small. Bed was comfortable but pillows were very hard (supposed to be like memory foam but they did not move when you put your head down). Wished the heating was better in the bathroom and living room.

We had a wonderful time! The place is ideally located, close to the Tapestry museum, cathedral and other landmarks, as well as close to great restaurants. We had a car and the parking pass was extremely useful. We would definitely stay there again!

Apartment is perfectly located to explore Bayeux. Good amenities - we were grateful to have the use of a washing machine, though there is also a laundromat located nearby. There was ample space to relax after a day out exploring the surrounding area. Great shower, though we did have a spot of bother with getting water on the floor. Although located right in town, peaceful and quiet at night. Very clean. Access to the apartment is up a few steep stairs, and the door to the apartment does open outwards towards you.
