Whatcom Lake Lodge is a real gem. Not only is it in an incredibly beautiful location, but also it is so cozy with all of the comforts of a home away from home. Clarissa is incredibly helpful & communicative. She really took the time to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Our my family looks forward to coming back another summer.

My husband and our four boys enjoyed fishing, and enjoying the peace and surrounding beauty of the lake! The pros: The lake is stunning, the surrounding trees, the stars at night, unbelievably beautiful! Check-in was simple, quick, and everyone we spoke with was incredibly friendly. Every room has a floor fan, which is a huge bonus, and all the bathrooms have a brand new bar of soap, bottles of shampoo/conditioner, bottles of water, and body wash. We thought this was a thoughtful detail. There are kayaks, paddleboards, and inner tubes to play with on the lake. The only concern we could see is there are 3 flights of fairly steep steps to the water. If someone has a knee/hip/ankle issue this will make the walk down and back up rough. The dials on the oven are worn clean of their directions. Therefore we didn't use the oven at all. The stove was great though!

This is the best place to stay on lake whatcom! Amazing views, fun activities, great hosts! Will definitely stay again!
