Our whole family agrees that this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Peaceful and glorious views of the sun rising and falling across Wallaga Lake with birds and kangaroos gathering to feed. Love the way Rachel & Brian have thought of every detail. Lamps and candles for mood lighting, well stocked kitchen, array of games & books, binoculars and a bird book. We also really appreciated the clear, friendly and useful local recommendations so we could go on an adventure walk to the private beach, paddle and canoe on the lake as well as swim in the stunning Blue Pool to see seals, sea snails and crabs galore! My husband loved fishing and caught a Brim at Wallaga Lake from the rocky point which was delicious for lunch! Rachel’s warm welcome was so appreciated and we felt right at home. The heat pump laundry machine & dryer was amazing to use as well! We love your little cottage and can’t wait to return!

Quite possibly the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Rachel and Brian, were so friendly and accommodating - checking in to see how our stay was going, offering tips and going above and beyond with small touches. The accommodation itself was perfect - a cosy cottage with absolutely everything you could need for your stay. The property is magical with breathtaking views of the lake and daily visits from kangaroos. So much to do/explore either on the property or close by. We had a fantastic time.

We loved the house, which was an older cottage with relaxed beach house style on the lake, surrounded by lawns, trees and paddocks. The water in the lake was pristine. The house was very clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to the ocean beach from the house. Rachel was extremely helpful and friendly. We can definitely recommend this house.
