Wonderful, peaceful home in a quiet area on Lake Barkley. The walk to the lake was farther up the road than we expected and it was not well-marked. However, we enjoyed the walk and the views on the sandy beach. We loved the home, but know this is not a modern place with spiffy facilities. The deck and views of the lake are fabulous. Furniture was very comfortable. Visit the Red Brick Inn over by the bridge in Canton. Historic renovated place with outdoor live music and a cute tavern. Stop on your way back from adventures in the Land Between the Lakes. So much to explore around the area.

The location is beautiful and you can walk down to a beach area. It is a ways from any restaurants or shopping so we ate before we got to the house. Golfing, a park and marina is close by. I unfortunately ended up sick but the host were very helpful with everything we needed. Very quick to respond too.
