This is by far the best vacation home and location my family has ever stayed in. Breathtaking sunsets can be seen from the pool and hot tub, the dining area, the living room, the kitchen, and from nearly every bedroom. The kitchen is to die for: if you need it, it’s there. You truly feel right at home as soon as you step foot in this space. We saw abundant fish and a sea turtle from the comfort of the backyard. Within a 5-minute walk, you can jump in the ocean cove behind the rental home to snorkel and see the wildlife up close and personal including some of the most spectacular reefs and rock formations I’ve ever seen. We fell asleep each night to the most amazing white noise you could ever image, the waves breaking just outside the bedroom windows. Words can’t do this place justice. Like trying to explain what the Grand Canyon is like – so is this place. You must stay here to fully understand the experience.

We have stayed at many memorable houses on our family vacations but Uma's house topped them all! Guy (the caretaker) welcomed us on arrival and gave us a helpful tour of the house when we arrived. We really appreciated him showing us all the neat features of the house and opening up all the windows before we arrived. We absolutely loved the open-air design of the house and spent most of our time enjoying the waves crashing on the rocks. The views of Keauhou bay are second to none and we saw eels and rays right from the backyard. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We even walked to the local beach to use all the snorkel gear available in the garage. The fully electric shades/screens throughout the house were a highlight and got plenty of use during the week. The propane tiki torches added incredible fire-light in the evenings when we sat around the large table. Thank you Uma for opening your beautiful home and giving us an unforgettable family vacation!

Amazing location! The views were insane and better than the hotel nearby that was hosting the wedding we were attending. Beds were comfortable and the house was very well equipped. One thing to mention, the ocean is very loud. If you are a light sleeper, it may take some getting used to. I enjoyed it but thought it was worth mentioning.

I have traveled to many places in my life, and this might be the coolest house I've ever stayed in. The views are spectacular from every bedroom and the backyard is even better. The screen system throughout the house gives it an amazing open-air feel. The kitchen has every possible amenity you could want. Standing over the ocean in the backyard looking into the water we saw fish, eels, dolphins, whales and even a turtle right from the yard. The privacy here is unmatched being at the end of a no outlet street and having fences and foliage between you and neighbors. Even though you are in such a secluded place, it is still close to great resteraunts and plenty of things to do. There is a plaza only 5 minutes up the street with just about anything you could need. Uma was very pleasant and responsive to any inquiry we had. Guy was welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know about the house and gave some great recommendations about what to do while in town. 5 stars without a doubt!
