We had an excellent stay! The apartment is extremely well located, with most everything you need in Sintra in close walking distance. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and quiet. The town of Sintra is absolutely charming and safe.

I would 100 percent recommend this airbnb because the location is unbeatable. You’re only steps away from all the sites like the entrance to the park where Pena Palace and the castle are; the bus stops right there if you want to jump on a bus to Monserrat Palace (and the other sites). It’s in the heart of small shops and restaurants, very close to Park Liberdade, and an easy walk to the Sintra train station. It also has all the amenities one would need. Things to be mindful of: The airbnb is hugged by stairs, but all of Sintra is essentially up and down stairs and hills! If you take an Uber, they’re likely to drop you off at (and pick you up from) the bottom of the stairs in front of the News Museum. If you have a lot of luggage make sure to get directions to get dropped off at the top of the stairs instead of the bottom. Lastly, sometimes communication in the app is slow but just call Claudia’s team through airbnb and they are very helpful.

Claudia is a great host! Her apartment is right in the heart of Sintra restaurants and shops, yet when you close the door it is quiet. It was a great location to walk to the National Palace, shops and restaurants. Just 5 minute walk to taxis and tuk tuk if you want to take a tour. We hiked from the apartment to both the Moorish castle (50 mins) and the Pena palace(70 mins). The views are great from the apartment. Thanks for the gift of wine. Tea, Coffee, and biscotti were also provided! This apartment was perfect for the two of us. Thanks Claudia!

Nous avons passez un agréable séjour à sintra dans le logement proposé par Cláudia. Hôte très réactive, logement nikel. Dans quartier animé et calme en même temps. Si je devais apporter un point d'amélioration, je dirais un rideau occultant pour que les personnes qui dorment dans la pièce principale puissent être dans l'obscurité. Sinon PARFAIT

Great location and plenty to do. Comfy bed and bedding. Good info on local restaurants and things to do. Lovely bottle wine as a welcome too.
