We travelled up to Tatamagouche for our daughter’s high school provincial softball tournament. This cozy cottage was beyond our expectations! We cooked a lovely supper and breakfast in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed our evening on the upstairs patio listening to the babbling river, the peepers, and watching the fireflies flit around. With two busy days at the ball field, our evening spent relaxing in this quiet sanctuary was so appreciated and wish we didn’t have to head home as we would have booked another night to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor games provided (horse shoes, washer toss, croquet)❤️Thank you Jenny & Jesse for providing such a beautiful retreat!! Hideaway cabin suited all our needs. We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed fishing, walking, exploring and swimming the Waughs river. Lots of outdoor games to play or just be content doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the private and peaceful area. Cabin had all we needed, was wonderful to have a washer and dryer ( I hung out my clothes) Jenny And Jesse were responsive and the best hosts. Highly recommend, we plan to return soon.
Beautiful, private and quiet property - thoughtfully stocked and extremely clean. Jenny and Jesse's cabin had everything we needed, and was even stocked with lots of extra smaller items that can come in handy, in case you forget to pack some essentials. Very responsive and friendly hosts as well. We will be recommending this location for family and friends, and we will be back again!
A perfect and very private getaway to unwind with all the comforts of home. I appreciated having internet so that I could keep connected. It was ideal for a combined work and personal trip. And a great location from which to explore the area. I plan to stay again when I have the next opportunity and I do not hesitate to recommend Jenny and Jesse’s cozy and beautiful cabin.
The cabin was idyllic, the perfect place to unplug and reset. I'd highly recommend it!
