Great find! Perfect location for exploring Halifax. Spacious, clean and everything we needed at hand. Andrew was a great host with quick response time and very accommodating. We would love to stay here again!

Some great things: - great location (central downtown) - very spacious (2 floors and very open) - nice quaint decoration - comfy bed Some things that did not work well for me: - the walls and floors are very old with many cracks and there was an active mouse during my stay. This is common in old buildings in the city but still, the mouse was running between kitchen, bathroom, and in and out of cracks in the wall. I didn't want to cook/eat inside - walls and front door are VERY thin. You hear conversations of people walking past. It is very exposed. - the front door lands right on the sidewalk and there is no deadbolt on the door. - Anyone with the code can get inside. There was a misunderstanding about my arrival and a maintenance worker with the code walked in while I took a nap - had there been a deadbolt, I would have locked it and it would have been clear to people with the access code that someone was inside.

We really liked the location, being able to walk to every corner of downtown from this airbnb. The heated floors were comfortable, with ability to adjust the temperature to our liking. We had a bit of trouble with the door not locking but Andrew was very responsive and fixed it right away. The linens are a bit stained but clean and comfortable. The mattress is on the softer side. We also really enjoyed all the original artwork displayed on the walls and various surfaces throughout this airbnb. The local guide books were also appreciated. The illustrated book of Halifax was especially a treat to flip through!
