This is such a perfect stop for anyone camping their way along the Alaska Highway, or for anyone wanting to spend some time checking out the area. Hillary's property is beautiful, surrounded by trees, super quiet and safe and she has a fantastic suite available with shower, laundry, mini-fridge, kettle etc. Basically it's everything you could want for a great rest and reset on your trip. I ran into some pretty intense weather the night I was there and she didn't hesitate to reach out first thing in the morning and let me know it was fine to stay a bit longer, and she helped me interpret road and weather reports from a local's perspective. I also really appreciated how much she loves the area and supports the businesses in town. She had so much great information to share. I felt really supported while also having loads of independence and personal space. Hillary's place is what AirBnB was meant to be—a really welcoming, personal stay with a truly awesome local.

We had a short stay of one night at Hillary's place. We arrived later on in the evening and Hillary was very helpful/responsive greeting us just as we arrived. Her property is beautiful and Hillary and her kids were very welcoming and kind. Facilities available were perfect, would definitely recommend to anybody passing through the area. Thanks again!

Hillary was super nice, we really enjoyed staying on her property. It was so good to be able to use a clean bathroom but still camp out. We were in such a hurry to leave early that we missed out on Hillary’s sourdough bread. We’d stay again and definitely recommend this for other campers in the area.

Good little camp site, but with a good nice bathroom inside their house. Hillary was an excellent host. Her kids were very kind as well. And I love their old dog that came up and saw me. My stay was short, but I enjoyed it overall.

If you are hesitant to camp in someone’s backyard (like we were) don’t be!! The location is private and beautiful. Hillary was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!
