Joseph's Vacation home was terrific. His home was totally gutted and remodeled so everything is like new condition. He bought 2 brand new beds during the upgrade so you will sleep great. The lake was peaceful with an elavated view which I do prefer. The location is central for day trips to various cities on Lake Michigan. He is a very fast communicator one of the best I have encountered in my 35 years of renting. His price is extremely competive for the high quality of his home. Probably the only downside is he has two firepits one which is not usable since it is too steep to put chairs around. He has another firepit on a hill where you can get only 3 chairs around but your chairs are still on a hill. If he could dig an area pefectly level so 6 people could sit around a firepit his place would be a perfect 10 score. Most people like bonfires on a lake so I consider a workable firepit to be essential. I highly recommend renting his teriffic place it is a cut above!!!! Thanks Joseph

We really enjoyed our stay on Crooked Lake! The hosts were helpful and responsive and the house was comfortable and clean. We loved having access to kayaks to explore the lake and enjoyed wonderful views from the deck during our stay. The living areas of the house are very spacious and comfortable.

Its one of our favorite trips as a family! We look forward to coming here and unwind. The house sits perfectly across the lake where our kids stayed in swing trunks the entire time of our stay. We absolutely love the home decor and comfortable linens. Our kids didn’t want to leave!

We loved staying here! All of our expectations were met and exceeded based on the photos and descriptions listed. The home has everything you need and the use of the kayaks and floating mat for the lake is a huge bonus. I’d stay here again with my family in a heartbeat!

Our family of 6 with 4 young children (7,5,3,2) had a great stay at crooked lake lookout. The house is as described, the steps bring you right down to the water. The lake has sandy bottom that at the end of dock is about 4 feet deep - it gradually gets deeper which is great for young children (only 1-2 feet from the shore to the end of the dock). The water was pool like temperature (again great for children), lots of beach toys, chairs, floating mats, kayaks, life vests, and floats are available for us. We caught so many fish right off the dock, found lots of hermit crabs, and the water is clear. Great trip for a young family - we will be back.
