A beautifully converted stable block with lots of character and modern comfort. Quiet and private with huge amounts of outdoor space to enjoy. Helen is a helpful, communicative host. Lots to do in the area but be prepared to drive as walking from your front door is a little inhibited by local building and development works. We especially enjoyed the Black Rabbit pub by the river Arun and the East Beach cafe at Littlehampton and beer fans will like the Brewhouse at Lyminster but there are lots of options.
An absolutely beautiful property and grounds. Furniture and appliances are high quality. The bed is enormous and very comfortable.
Fab-u-lous. Helen made us extremely welcome on our arrival and had added some finer touches as we were using The Stables as a base for our daughters wedding. A welcome pack including fizz plus decorations were provided. The property was as described and very comfortable all round. Helen allowed us to have the bridesmaids, hair and make up stylists and photographer to visit on the morning of the wedding. All in all it was faultless, a wonderful stay, with wonderful weather on one of the hotest days of the year. Would thoroughly recommend.
My Husband and I spent a wonderful few days at Helen’s newly converted stables We are very discerning property people and cannot say how much we appreciated the stunning conversion with loads of natural light and beautiful views of such a large garden with good exterior furniture to appreciate the sun - morning and afternoon…. Yes - we were lucky! The stables at Peckham has such a homely feel with special touches all around including sleepy pillow spray! The cleanliness was incredible and the ease with which we found the property all helping us to have a calm and happy time there The sofas were hugely comfortable as were the mattresses with lovely soft linens and towels An extra treat was the water pressure and quality of the shower head and bath fittings Thank you again - a place we would highly recommend, and will visit again…..
Had a fantastic couple of relaxing days in this lovely converted barn in a very peaceful and delightful location which was also close to the beach and the South Downs for great walks.
