When planning a visit to the Vrana Lake Nature Park, it is necessary to know that the Park stretches between Pakostane and Pirovac on an area of ​​57 km2 and that the visitor locations, where the info centers are located, are more than 15 kilometers away. If you want to visit the Park, the easiest way is by car, motorcycle or bicycle. Our info centers are located in three locations in the Park: the info center Crkvine in the ornithological reserve, the info center Kamenjak on the viewpoint Kamenjak and the info center Prosika in the port of Prosika. Viewpoint Kamenjak offers view of Kornati islands. There are stone houses and a small chapel at the top.
There are more than 50 km of bicycle paths around Vrana Lake, which differ in weight as well as the landscape through which they pass. The most common route of our visitors starts in Vrana near the local church and then the trail climbs the hill Majdan, which oversees the entire Ornithological Reserve, and continues along the northern shore of the lake in the direction of SE.
With its seven travertine waterfalls: Bilušića buk, Brljan, Manojlovac slap, Rošnjak, Miljacka slap, Roški slap and Skradinski buk, the Krka River is a natural and karst phenomenon. Travertine is a common feature of the surface waters of the Dinaric karst; only the most extraordinary travertine creates significant layers, which build the waterfalls seen on the Krka River. The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are very fragile formations, and are sensitive to environmental change and all human activities.
