You will find this home ready to accommodate your travel needs with 2 comfortable queen size beds, eclectic bathroom with clawfoot soaking tub, as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. Guests will feel right at home on the large front porch, sipping sweet tea or enjoying dinner in our beautiful private backyard. We also provide additional local information with maps and suggestions of fun things to do. The lovely front porch leads into a 1905 floor plan featuring soaring ceilings, original windows, original woodwork, and a whitewashed restored wood floor with newly carpeted bedrooms. In the living room, you will find a comfortable and stylish space with a couch, sitting chair, throw blankets, and large flatscreen TV. We provide free superfast internet at 400mbs, YouTubeTV, and you have the option to log into any of the major streaming apps using your personal login information. Pass through the cozy living room to the large, comfortable dining area by way of the largest, sliding pocket door we've ever seen! The dining space boasts a 4-seat dining table with additional bench seating for 2. Enjoy the ladder light fixture at the center of the room, specifically created by Ryan and Mendy for this wonderfully unique space. There's also a restored bureau where you'll find lots of fun board games, and an additional seating area for two where you can enjoy a coffee or a hand of cards. From the dining area, you can access the side yard enclosed with a privacy fence and an outdoor dining area set amongst mature trees. Through the dining room, you will find yourself in a fully-equipped kitchen with a coffee/tea bar with hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, French Press, various spices and cooking oils, five burner gas range, stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. The kitchen has all the glassware, dishware, silverware, pots/pans, and utensils you may need during your stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a stacked washer and dryer with an ironing board and iron. Feel free to do laundry during your stay - we have provided detergent pods for your use. All bedrooms offer new, high quality, green mattresses and bedding with walk in closets providing ample storage. Sleep easy in the front bedroom on a Zinus Green Tea 12 inch memory foam mattress with a LinenSpa 3 inch gel infused memory foam topper. The back bedroom sleeps a Serta Green mattress and has black out curtains. Both bedrooms feature large walk-in closets and USB charging stations. The space sleeps four (4), featuring a "Jack and Jill" style bathroom - meaning the bathroom is situated in between the bedrooms, with private doors between both bedrooms. Enjoy a soothing soak in our restored clawfoot tub. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, but feel free to bring your own. The clawfoot tub is also equipped with a shower. The house has central air conditioning - no swamp cooler here! Perfect for the hot summers of our high desert climate. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen are all equipped with new ceiling fans to ensure a breezy and comfortable stay. As with any 100+ year old house, you may hear creaks and noises, you may see the house tilting a bit, and you may feel an occasional cool draft due to the original windows.
