Dave’s place is the perfect little hideaway! We relocated down south last summer. I came home this summer to visit family, friends and to spent time in the mountains that I missed so much. It was good to come back, but even better to escape to our own space and unwind. Hot showers, cozy beds, laundry & cooking amenities and the means to make a quick cup of hot coffee is all we needed. Thank you Dave for supplying us with all our needs and letting us enjoy the peace and adventure that will always bring me back home. It was so much appreciated!

My wife and I moved to Alaska in March and needed a place to stay while looking for a home. We are glad we chose Dave’s place! We stayed there for 3 months, and it couldn’t have been better for us. Dave is a great host and very knowledgeable about the area. The laundry area is shared, but it is private from both living areas which is nice. Dave let us use space in the large freezer too. We found Eagle River to be a perfect location between Anchorage and the Mat Su Valley making for an easy commute either way. We are making plans to book a fishing trip with him this summer.

I loved the homey feel. the beds were very comfortable. we are considering using the same accommodations next visit.
