I highly recommend staying with Reserva Natural if you intend to visit El Salto Del Buey. The trail to the waterfall is right in front of the cabin and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant throughout my stay. If you're a foreigner visiting from Medellin, it's an easy bus ride to La Ceja followed by a taxi or private driver hired by the host to take you to the entrance. To return to Medellin, a bus comes to the neighborhood to take you directly to the city and it's very affordable. Also, there is a restaurant and several activities including a zipline. Not to mention they're also growing, processing, and milling their own specialty coffee. If you're into birding, there are tons in the area! Especially at first light. My stay at Reserva Natural stands out as one of the best sections of my trip to Colombia.
