This is a gem. I cannot believe I found it. Everyone should experience this. It is like walking into another era. There is a beautiful feel to it, the staff was so passionate about their boat, their home, so flexible and prepared for our needs. I cannot say it more succinctly, You Must Stay Here At Least Once In Your Life. There is nothing else I have ever seen that compares.

our stay aboard the SS City of Milwaukee was absolutely incredible. What a GEM! it was like stepping back in time, we loved checking out the old ship that has been well taken care of and restored. Simply amazing! our rooms, the 4 Boys room and Railroad Executive room were both clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying there again, so unique! Thank you for preserving this piece of history and for sharing with us all!!

Robby was a great host and waited for us to arrive despite us being later than expected. He was very knowledgeable of the ship and helpful with all questions. The ship was very cool and loved the historical touches! A bit buggy but that was expected! Would recommend.

Incredibly unique stay! We loved this experience on the SS City of Milwaukee. We will cherish our memories of staying on a 1930s Ferry! There are nice restaurants just a few minutes away, parking was easy. The bunk was shockingly comfortable. While eating breakfast I watched a bald eagle skim across the water, scoop up a fish and land in a nearby tree.
