It's a nice place to stay. It took a couple tries to reach Kokou to get the access code for check-in but the room provided is quite roomy and nicely decorated. The place does have hot water despite the listing saying otherwise.

Kokou was an amazing host while I was on my rotation at Penn State. He was extremely friendly, and welcoming, and even let me stay one additional day after I got off a very late hospital shift and was too tired to drive across state lines. I would recommend it to everyone looking to stay in the Harrisburg area.

I've stayed at this location multiple months prior and it had been a positive experience which is why I haven't rated this much lower. I work nightshifts which was well communicated to the owner that I need a quiet place to sleep during the day. The owner failed to tell that he was renovating his house and had contractors hammering and pounding throughout the house 5 days a week. Not only that, he informed me he'd go to home depot and get a lock to put on my door which he neglected to do for months, so there could've been contractors that walked in on me sleeping at any point. Other problems I've had is that the bathroom door gets stuck so badly that it takes both hands to pry it open, the owner has multiple outlets going on one circuit and it blew which virtually left me with no power in my room, the parking is often limited to under a tree where the birds crap on your car, and part of floor boards on the front steps is falling in and poses as a tripping hazard

Fast communication, very accommodating to let me book at last minute while on the road. Comfortable bed. Great stay.
