Amazing place to stay to get the full Charleston Experience. Joes place is absolutely beautiful. I actually had to call him a 1am on the first night as I went into the wrong entrance and he FaceTimed me through the steps to get in. Stayed for 30 days and would love to do it again in the near future! Place was pristine!

This is a review to warn others. I had a trip booked with this air bnb and was excited. A few weeks out I messaged about early check in and was told it shouldn’t be a problem, but message as the day gets sooner. I messaged the night before and was told he wasn’t sure the cleaners would be done but at the very least we could drop our bags off. We arrive an hour and a half early like we told him we would and the door does not open. Upon messaging Joe, he says it won’t open until check in time and what he meant was that I could leave my bags in the public hallway that other units have access to. Next problem was that when we did check in it was dirty and had not been cleaned. Joe admitted this was his fault and offered a full refund which we accepted and were lucky enough to have the funds to make a hotel reservation for check in the same day. Last problem was the delay with the refund process. I was in contact with with Joe each day waiting for the refund to process and it took me reaching out to air bnb myself to get it immediately taken care of. This may have been a fluke but it was a mess and worth mentioning for future travelers to know.

There's no better place for a first-time stay in Charleston than this! The location really is in the heart of it all. Aside from all of the surrounding boutiques and restaurants in the direct vicinity, there's also the convenience of being a 1-2 minute walk from places like Sephora and CVS Pharmacy in case you forgot to pack any toiletries. You can take a walk to iconic spots such as Rainbow Row, Charleston City Market and Queen Street within about 15 minutes. The condo was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The furniture was also very comfortable, and everything was basically brand new. A cool feature is the skylights which let in lots of natural light. Joe remained super helpful throughout our stay and was always available to answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend!
