Helen was a nice enough host she's clearly a very nice and well rounded person. Unfortunately the house we rented was originally supposed to be a full house but we ended up sharing a room with another couple which was fine but the house itself was completely empty we ended up having to stand around most of the time which again wasn't really a big issue. The things that stood out really though were Helens random drop byes which kind of felt like Helens distrust in our group staying at the house not to trash the place which was kind of childish, at times it felt as if I was in high school and Helen was my mother checking in on me throughout the night, it was a little awkward and kind of inappropriate at times, we felt necessary to make conversation and some of our party was so put off by this they just ended up staying in their room until Helen left. Also in the morning when we were heading out Helen essentially scolded us for turning up the AC which we were never told not to do it was a bit out of left field and kind of a strange conversation. All in all it wasn't terrible, Helen is a nice person I assume he means well and didn't mean to come off as so intense, the house was clean and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable.

The house was great. I stayed here with two colleagues for a work trip, and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft, bathrooms were clean and both had shower / tubs. The host was great at communicating with me over text message, so check-in/check-out was super easy.

The experienced was terrible. When we arrived she informed us that the house was listed for sale and that she had a viewing at 3. Before we arrived she had said we could drop our bags and 12 and come back at 2. We got there for 2 only to be told that the house listed on Airbnb was rented and we had to use the house across the street. We had to move the cars several times. She made us put our luggage into closets and she made us wait and eat on the deck from 2 to 3:30 while she staged and showed the house - there were no chairs or tables on the deck, We got the chairs from the dinning room so we could sit on the deck. At 3:30 we went into the house only to be told that some people had seen the for sale sign and wanted to look at the house. This time she made us go to the basement while she showed the house. There was not kettle, only 3 forks, 4 plates . She clearly told me prior to our arrival that she had plates and cutlery. We were a party of six. There was no couch or TV in the house. She told us not to use the basement bedroom or bathroom as she wanted the house to be clean for her next viewing - on the following day. She told us not to cook in the kitchen. She was a pleasant person, but she should not try selling and renting the house on the same day.

The pictures do not do this house any justice extremely beautiful brand new renovated house but the only downside was the host was extremely hard to deal with and very untrusting she went there multiple time when we were not there and also wanted to do walk throughs throughout our whole stay about every 12 hours it was hard to enjoy a vacation well feeling like we were being babysat
