Room not stocked with essentials Only one towel provided. No wash cloth. No hand towels. Only one hanger provided. Bottom sheet would not stay on bed. No top sheet provided. Excellent shower but dirty.

We were very disappointed in the accommodations. The room was dark and dirty and smelled like air freshener was trying to cover up what ever issues there were with the basement space. There was no top sheet on the bed and only one towel was there in a room with a king sized bed for 2 people. The bathmat was wet, dirty and covered in pet hair. When we reached out about the issues, communications with the host were productive and he did his best to make everything right, except that the room remained dirty. The floor was gritty and had dust bunnies and pet hair. The shower did not look clean. The shower functioned well and I did enjoy a decent shower in the morning. Pictures of the place show it as bright and cheerful, but the reality was the opposite. The construction of the room, bathroom and common kitchen area is shoddy. It did not feel good to be there. But we did appreciate the apology for the inconvenience of the situation at check in. Also, 8 am is a terrible checkout time.

This was a great place to stay and was located in a good area close to Chicago. I love the city and this was a good choice in a great city!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this place over the past 2 years. It's a perfect place to stay when I'm in town visiting my kid at Northwestern. Nice, quiet neighborhood and only 8-10 min drive from Northwestern. Grocery store and shopping nearby. The early check-out is painful, but I understand that it's necessary.
