Before I begin the review, I’d like to express my most sincere gratitude to Anaïs and her incredible work in making sure my partner and I were accommodated during the weekend. I recently had gotten a tattoo done and forgotten my lotion at home. Anaïs lent me some and I am forever indebted to her for this kind gesture. She also went out of her way to ensure we were fed, considering there weren’t any local restaurants offering official delivery services. Review: The room was exactly what a couple needs. The location is nearby the beach in Old Pochomil—I’ll get to this part later. The place is very welcoming and extremely private. I would highly recommend this spot to any couple who wishes to get away from the night life and enjoy each others’ company. There’s a smart TV connected to the local WiFi, just bring your Netflix/Prime account and enjoy a lovely night with your significant other. The hammock outside is a great feature to use in order to take pictures. Now, for foreigners who aren’t up-to-date on Pochomil, I have some advice: There are two versions of Pochomil (I didn’t know this at the time of booking). Pochomil nuevo is the place to book if you’d like to be near bars, clubs, and overall other people. Pochomil viejo—where this place is located—is remote. And by remote I mean the nearest restaurant is about 5 km. The way to get to the room is by literal dirt road, so be prepared for many bumps along the way. This is no fault to the hostess, and I do not hold it against them. My advice is for you to bring some meat to cook, as Anaïs provides you with a gas grill and the utensils needed to make a nice juicy steak without leaving the comfort of the parking lot. Bring water/drinks to store in the fridge. There are ATVs located on the property, bring your license to drive! The privacy is second to none and I highly recommend this place to any couple looking to get away from the city life!
