Its cozy interiors, which are on two levels, include a bright living room with well equipped kitchen, two beautiful double bedrooms, a lovely children’s room and two bathrooms inside and outside. Tastefully furnished, the villa is also equipped with all modern amenities, such as air conditioning, WI-FI, satellite TV, washing machine and barbecue. Wir haben uns dank der herzlichen Begrüßung und der Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Terrasse mit der gemütlichen Hängematte und der große Pool sind noch schöner, als man es auf den Fotos erahnt. Vom Pool aus schaut man auf den nahen Monte Cofano - eine tolle Kulisse! Es gibt einen privaten, umzäunten Parkplatz. Der Mietwagen ist also sicher… Das Örtchen Cornino ist klein und ruhig. Es gibt in 150 m Entfernung einen kleinen Sandstrand mit „chilliger“ Strandbar, außerdem fußläufig mehrere Pizzerien und ein besonders schönes kleines Restaurant (La Lampara), in dem der Besitzer und sein Sohn sizilianische Köstlichkeiten anbieten. Die nächste Bäckerei und ein Café für ein typisch sizilianisches Frühstück sind 1,5 km entfernt. Supermärkte gibt es in Custonaci. Man ist also gut versorgt. Grazie e arrivederci! :-)

Il soggiorno tutto sommato è andato abbastanza bene… bisognerebbe curare alcune mancanze per renderlo più efficiente per il prezzo richiesto.

Custonaci is only 5 minutes drive from the villa and has amazing cave systems and a wealth of archaeological sites of the Paleolithic to visit in addition to the usual pretty squares, cafes and shops.
