We really enjoyed staying in the Charlestown Cottage! The house was perfect for our weekend away.  It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.  The house looked recently updated and very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks by the firepit the very first night.     The location was great, we were able to visit several local beaches and made good use of the included pass to Charlestown beach.  The beach chairs came in really handy while watching the sunset over the Breachway.  Jackie, the host, was very responsive whenever we needed to reach out.     We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I really appreciated the fact that Jackie’s place was dog friendly! Our senior dog loved the big back yard and hanging out with us by the fire pit at night. Although there isn’t a water view, the location makes it very convenient and fast to get to all of the good area restaurants (Mutunuck Oyster Bar was our favorite) and be on the beach or at a salt pond in under 10 minutes! The house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen! there are plenty of games, puzzles, and beach gear provided, not to mention the fact that you can use one of the kayaks (be sure your vehicle is capable of transporting it to the water though). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jackie’s house! We would return again for sure!

Jackie was so gracious to accommodate us for a last minute family get-together! Her place was very clean and neat and so well stocked with everything you would ever need. She even had beach chairs and a beach umbrella but we had brought our own. What I liked the most was that she doesn’t add on extra fees for pets or cleaning like so many other places (some of which are astronomical!). We were able to bring our dogs but made sure to leave her place extra clean because of her being so considerate. She was always accessible and easy to communicate with. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Cozy cottage, clean, new furnishings, comfortable beds, house set back from road and nice deck and backyard with firepit. TV has apps to watch movies and shows but we couldnt find live local news and weather on TV without cable. Well stocked kitchen. Beach gear in the closet to use. Jackie responded promptly to messages. Lots to do in this area- beaches, Block Island Ferry or Newport mansions for a daytrip, great restaurants. Nearby shops include The Barn at a Shore Thing and Fantastic Umbrella Factory which had two emu-very different vibes but both nice to visit. Visit Watch Hill to peruse the shops, look at ships, carousel for small children, ice cream. Two local theaters for plays and improv-Theatre by the Sea and The Contemporary Theatre in Wakefield. Black Point Trail in Narragansett for a nice walk by the ocean. Always enjoy staying in this area.
