Sophia's place is fantastic! It's incredibly spacious and clean. She was very thoughtful, accommodating, and responsive with any questions we had. She was also phenomenally good at anticipating everything we could possibly need for our stay, we felt immediately at home. Also, my son works remotely, in a fairly high stress field, so he was really appreciative of such a peaceful environment. My own work takes me all over LA and into Santa Clarita, so staying at a place that was central to my multiple and fairly wide spread work locations was incredibly convenient. We will definitely be staying at Sophia's again in the future and can't recommend her home enough.
My husband and I stayed at Sofia's home while our own was under construction. The townhouse was clean and lovely and fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had pots and pans and plenty of dishes. The office space made it easy to work remotely and the location near the freeway was very convenient. The only thing to be aware of is that the townhouse does have shared walls so you will hear the neighbors.
This is a beautifully laid-out property, perhaps the fittings are a little dated and there are a few loose wires in places which I would probably remove. But, ultimately, this house is perfectly serviceable and spacious. I needed to leave early as the location was a struggle for my needs due to the noise levels - but Sofia was an exceptional host and recognized my needs and supported my change of plans, above and beyond what she was obligated to do. Sofia's instructions are excellent and communication is phenomenal. All in all, this is a great property and a bargain in this location in LA - I would just be wary if you are particularly noise sensitive as the complex itself can become a little loud.
Sofia was a wonderful host, she was quick to respond to all questions. The neighbors, however, are quite loud (which became a nuisance as my friend and I were there for 3 months time). The futon is uncomfortable to sleep on- we had to purchase an extra mattress pad for our time there to make it sleep-able. The area was good- grocery store, target, gas stations, etc right down the road which was very nice.
