Aberporth · 整套乡村小屋 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Coach House -Beach 3 miles at stunning Aberporth
The Coach House at Crynga Mawr, part of a beautiful historic stone mill transformed into a 1 bed luxury holiday cottage. Located in the coastal countryside close to the beach and set in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beach of Aberporth and 10 min drive from historic Cardigan. A variety of local beaches offer surfing, paddle boarding or just lying in the sun. Very close by there's plenty of restaurants, attractions and local spots to explore. Historic listed Crynga Mawr Farm was founded in the 1820s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Coach House is a historic stone building with walls over 2ft thick and vaulted ceilings which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. The recent conversion maintains the original charm but delivers a modern airy feel with a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury shower room and open plan kitchen and lounge with sofa. The Coach House has a private patio garden and small lawn area to the side of the cottage.
We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House. The property was cosy for me, my husband and our dog and a great location for exploring the local beaches. Shaun was very responsive and helpful with local knowledge. A brilliant host. We would love to return in the future!
We enjoyed a fab stay at Shaun’s place set in beautiful welsh countryside just a short drive to the sea. The cottage had everything we needed including a travel cot highchair and children’s crockery which was very helpful. Check-in was easy via lockbox and it was nice to meet Shaun the first evening for a good local recommendation to watch the sundown over the sea and look out for dolphins! All in all a great stay would highly recommend.
Great guesthouse in a beautiful rural spot, but close to lovely beaches and places to explore. The house had everything we needed, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful! Shaun was a great host and the family were very welcoming. Would absolutely recommend as a base for exploring west Wales :)
The Cardigan Bay beach area was voted by lonely planet as best place to be in the world right now, it has absolutely stunning countryside with coastal walks, castles, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants.
Historic Cardigan town with its famed castle is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants.
The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as paddle boarding, coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking; its known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.

It's best to have a car here as public transport is limited apart from the beach bus that hops between bays.
Parking is plentiful and easy to find in the area, it's not like Cornwall here, the beaches aren't packed and its pretty relaxed even in the height of summer.
