The place was really quiet and even though you do have neighbors on one side, it still feels very private. The sauna was great, although one of the benches was kind of slumping downwards but we just sat on the other side and it was totally fine. Note for dog owners, the property is definately not enclosed but there is enough space and the layout makes it so that your dog can still run around freely and it felt very safe.

The photos don’t do the surroundings justice. This is a beautiful setting with a stream and sauna facing the house and room for the pup to run around safely due to the dead end road. The house is a little outdated but the surroundings and deck make up for it.

You will have a great family time there just as we did, but to make your experience better than ours, here are the basic things you need to bring with you as those are not provided there : Body soap, shampoo, blankets, lighter, fire starter firewood, coffee beans, coffee filter, k-cups, cream & sugar, fry pan, toaster (theirs is not working).

The cozy cottage was a wonderful place to stay and Rosanna was a great host answering all our questions in a timely manner.

We enjoyed our stay here but for the price the place could use some upgrades. The screens on the windows/doors were falling off so it immediately looked a bit dilapidated when we arrived. not a great first impression. inside was freezing when we arrived and there were no blankets or anything on the couches to keep us warm while we got the fire started and kicked off the space heaters. there was also no soap in the shower. the sauna was nice. for the price, i wouldn’t recommend though.
