I had a fabulous stay…. Colleen and Audrey are very kind and accommodating people who made sure that I was happy. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. I felt at home. I chose the breakfast option. Tony brought me a delicious tray of various local food options every morning. A yummy surprise everyday! The property is a short walk down the hill to a quiet private beach. An incredible added value to the booking… It was exactly what I was looking for.

Cosy Cottage in the hills above Oracabessa, St Mary. The onsite hosts, Colleen and Audry, were very friendly and helpful. Cottage is small and simple: definitely only for one or two persons. Most appropriate for solo traveler. Area has very little traffic, but quite steep hills. I still enjoyed going running/walking around the neighborhood in the mornings. Shared pool is nice with scenic views. I would recommend to others.

We stayed 2 weeks and overall had a really nice time. The good things about the cottage: nice hot shower, great pool that we had to ourselves, lovely and very helpful host and staff, fast internet and 3 really cool dogs that became our buds. The not so good includes a cottage that could benefit from some attention and repairs. There are screens that need repaired and/or replaced and an upgrade on the kitchen faucet would be a nice improvement. I would also suggest the present love seat be replaced by a small sofa to provide more comfortable seating for 2 people. The location was convenient, private and quiet. The road up to the cottage is in rough shape but that certainly isn't he fault of the hosts. We're not fussy people and can roll with some things that other guests may not want to. Overall, I think this place was good value and we'd certainly consider staying here again.

Wow is the only way we can describe our stay at the refreshing cottage, the family and staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble for them,we were made to feel like part of the family, Sissy the housekeeper and Roxy the caretaker were fantastic ensuring we had every thing we needed, the cottage was clean and comfortable, the grounds surrounding the cottage were beautiful we had fruits from the trees and picked akkee and plantain from the trees, the swimming pool was cleaned daily, on the day we were leaving my wife refused to pack after spending 21 nights there we did not want to leave. If you are looking for a really laid back chilled out holiday we would highly recommend this place, thank you to the pottinger family and staff for making us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back as we miss you guys and our cottage. Colleen's house in Oracabessa, beautifuly located at the hills of Gibraltar Heights, was the perfect place for us to stay. The scenery of the nature, the big pool, the home made meals, the private house, everything was fantastic. Even more so thanks to the good people that took such good care of us. Colleen and her family really spoiled us with their warmth. We felt almost part of the family. It doesn't get much better than that. Thanks, Colleen, for everything!
