Gorgeous views with walkable beaches

A gem! Great space, especially if traveling with kids. Kitchen well stocked, you could definitely cook here if needed. We had a couple of rainy days during our trip....but the views here made it feel like we were still getting the most of it!! Beautiful and peaceful.

Had a very nice time celebrating Dad's 80th b-day weekend. Our kids joined us on this trip to celebrate their Grandpa (& great grandpa). Two bedrooms upstairs that were spacious enough to set up the babies pack-n-play. One common hall bath to be shared upstairs. There is one very spacious master downstairs and our daughter said in the morning it sounded like people were bowling above their heads (it was the baby crawling around on the floor) so we tried to be very quiet the next morning. Great views of the sound!! We so enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The only problem we encountered was weak wi-fi signa however, the north shore is infamous for that so we just dealt with it. Otherwise everything we needed for the weekend was available.

It was a great place to stay with a beautiful view of the LI Sound but the horribly hot weather and tremendous humidity and us all being sick meant we just enjoyed the view from the living room or the deck. It wasn't the vacation we imagined but there are some things we have no control over. We did finally have the energy to explore the beach the last evening and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We were greeted by deer at the top of the beach stairs. We would consider renting again but we were there for a wedding, so we'll probably stick to California beaches. We're a bit wimpy with humidity even though we grew up with it. All in all, it was a good place to stay.
