Very beautiful and cosy place. There is also sufficient room for kids in the property. Well-equipped kitchen as well. Thanks for the reception and we enjoyed the stay very much.
Shaun’s property is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed at. This renovated church is a must-stay airbnb! The place was immaculately clean, beautifully presented and had everything we needed and more. We were even gifted a bottle of wine on our arrival! Shaun was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. He responded to messages instantly. We spent most of our time in the lounge (2nd floor) for the view over Kendal and the light and spacious room. Every room is so nicely finished and we all felt so at home. If you are looking to explore the Lakes, this airbnb is a perfect base. 100% recommend!
This place was remarkable. Beautiful church conversion , with immaculate furnishings. I loved the layout, offering all of the party their individual space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family, lots of space to sit and enjoy board games on a night. The view from the living room was amazing, overlooking the rooftops of Kendal. Both bathrooms offered rainfall showers, one with a jacuzzi bath that we couldn’t get the kids out of, something to look forward to after a day of walking. We managed to park at the front of the building on the first night however we weren’t so lucky for the rest of our stay. Parking is easy to find at the top of the bank, couple of minutes walk. It was easy to drop everyone off at the accommodation then to go find parking. Keep in mind if you have two cars then there is free parking at booths from 6pm-8am before and after that you need to pay. This was the only negative however it did not ruin our stay and we would definitely stay again.
