Washington Park is a historic neighborhood that features the largest city park in Winston Salem, and many beautiful homes. The apartment is on Main St, which is lined with cherry trees and can be a little busy at rush hour. Enjoy walks west through the neighborhood to the park, east onto the UNCSA campus, north to historic Old Salem and Salem College, or South to brewpubs and neighborhood restaurants on Acadia Ave.

Main Street runs North/South through Winston-Salem, and offers easy access to major thoroughfares such as i-40, Salem Parkway, and Highway 52. The apartment is accessed just off Main Street via Gloria Avenue; it's the first driveway off Gloria, on the downtown/North Side. Go straight back the driveway and it's the second house on the right-- the last house. One covered parking spot is adjacent to the stairs to the apartment, and there is easy on-street parking on Gloria Ave for additional cars. Entry is by lockbox to the left of the door. It's a terrific neighborhood for walking, biking, and Winston-Salem is an easy place for parking and not too troubled by traffic.
