The main level accommodates another two guests, which can sleep on the plush sofa bed in the living room. An additional sofa bed is in the lower level area and can accommodate two more guests. Hosts were wonderful and extremely responsive! The setting is extremely cozy, given we were there in the winter cannot imagine how beautiful the lake, the patio, and the outdoor setting would be on a beautiful spring/summer/fall day. The bedding and the beds were comparable to a 5 star hotel. Family room in the lower level was cozy to watch movies and play cribbage. Having had a home in Chippewa Falls years ago, it was nice to come back and enjoy all that Chippewa Falls has to offer. From sitting in Leine's lodge and enjoying the local beer, to the Winery/Distillery and listen to music while sipping on a glass of wine, to experiencing the High Shores Supper Club (A classic WI Supper Club). Great host, cozy location, recommend it!
Great Lake House!
Totally 5 stars! We were visiting family in the area. We were thankful to stay in this cozy, clean, amazing AirBnB. We had coffee each morning sitting in the living room and taking in the views of Lake Wissota. The beds and linens were top notch. Paige provided us with coffee, snacks, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place. Great care is taken to make it special. It's a gem!
Paige was extremely kind and so helpful with local recommendations for our family! She was extremely easy to reach and very responsive. The cottage was lovely and a perfect relaxing getaway. The lake and fire pit were wonderful to have to wind down a day full of fun activities. We can’t recommend The Cottage enough!
The place was beautiful and well-appointed. The view was amazing. Paige was very helpful with a great deal of information. Chippewa Falls was a great town. The Leinie Lodge was very cool and the brewery tour is worth the time. We had a great time.

The neighborhood is filled with family oriented year round residents whom have resided here for many decades. We have personally known our neighbors for over 20 years and you couldn't ask for better neighbors, we hope you love them as much as we do.
We pride our neighborhood as being safe with a neighborhood watch culture as well. We care about safety & security for everyone.
There is a train a couple of times a day, but it goes by super fast, it's here & gone before you know it.
Traffic as in any residential area has its busy & quite times.
Outside quiet time is 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Parking available for up to 4 vehicles in the private driveway. There is room to park your boat trailers. We do not mind if you walk your trailer to place on the front yard near wood pile we just ask you be mindful of sprinkler heads, the water well pipe and if the grass has had a hard rain please do not tear up the lawn.

I love this time in my life. I am GypsyGma to 4 amazing Grandchildren. I have raised my 3 adults kids with my husband of over 30 years having fun in the great outdoors. We love to travel! Our families, cousins & all spent countless days here at the cottage making wonderful lifelong memories. This was our dad’s cottage & his dream to live on the water. We hope we can create the same great memories for you, we just know you are going to love it!
