An der Unterkunft ist fast nichts auszusetzen. Uns fehlte ein Wasserkocher und ein Toaster. Außerdem war es etwas eng und klein, aber für 2 Personen ausreichend. Die Umgebung hat uns nicht gefallen. Es war abends sehr laut (Stimmen, Motorgeräusche und Vibrationsgeräusche wahrscheinlich von den Klimaanlagen) und der Ort Tarcoles ist nicht wirklich schön. Wir sind jeden Tag mit dem Auto mindestens 30min (nach Jaco) oder weiter gefahren, um etwas zu unternehmen. Alles in allem okay aber definitiv kein Highlight.

The Art was a blessing in disguise. We wanted a relaxing place that was convenient to local community and this was exactly what it was. It was a little oasis in this part of the country. the pool was sooo nice. The room was so spacious and well laid out. The bed was soooo comfortable and the bathroom was a great size (great counter space!!!). It was a quiet place, besides the roosters, but we loved that. There is very limited parking, and the first night someone parked weird, so we couldn't park there. We had to park on the street. The second night, we ended up having to block a car in, good thing is that we left very early so it wasn't a problem. To be honest, I would stay here just to stay here as it was just such a beautiful place, you can walk to the beach and little river and there are a couple of restaurants and grocery stores (supers) right down the road. It was awesome to watch a local futbol match across the street too.

The Ark is located in a small town of Tarcoles. We initially had some issues when we checked in, but Winston (the night guard) was extremely helpful — he saved our day and helped us connect to the host, and they upgraded our room. The new room (#5) was spotless and had a nice pool view. All new furniture, thoughtfully stocked rooms, and a friendly guard!

Es war wirklich ein rundum sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. The Ark hat sich stets um alles gekümmert und schnell geantwortet. Bei Winston, dem Nachtwächter, haben wir uns außerdem sehr sicher gefühlt. :-)
