The location is what makes this place unique. It’s a typical New York apartment with quirks but Justin tried his best to respond to any issues that cropped up.

I hate giving bad reviews, am a host myself, but this was an unpleasant experience, and the hosts so defensive that I fear they will improve nothing unless I comment on-Platform. We stayed for two months, and paid more than 10’000 USD, trusting the good rating. We lived in New York 9 years, have realistic expectations. At check-in, Justin showed up late, then made a big fuss about my partner traveling with a service dog … fellow hosts, please read your terms of service, and acquaint yourself with anti-discrimination laws. The location is GREAT, but the place is merely adequate, not a well thought through tiny home. Crusty kitchen cabinets, little space to cook or dry dishes, shower runs hot and cold randomly, and a better mopping to get rid of the diesel/city grime would be nice before check-in. I hand washed the rug, and the water in the tub ran VERY dark. The supplied vacuum is unfit for purpose. Anyway, we got our own linen, bought a vacuum, and had a great time after all.

Very convenient for walking and subway. Some street noise during the night due to proximity to street. Justin was very friendly and responsive. The linens and towels were high quality cotton and much appreciated.

Had such a wonderful time staying here! So walkable and great restaurants/shops right near the apt! Such a cozy spot to stay for a weekend getaway in nyc!
