Not only was the place dirtier than I was expecting, but the host was very difficult to work with. After a few days, I decided to shorten my stay, because it was unsanitary. I frequently had to clean other peoples urine off the floor, and there were dead bugs smashed against the wall in the kitchen, near where you prepare food, as well as live bugs in my room. The host did not allow me to change my checkout date unless I paid him more money, which he tried to get me to do outside of the Airbnb platform. I spent multiple days talking to several Airbnb Ambassadors, who tried to help out and had me cancel the reservation and Charlie refused any sort of a refund, in fact, he continued to ask for more money. Multiple Airbnb Ambassadors reached out to Charlie to try to explain that I shouldn’t be responsible for the nights I didn’t stay at the house, and he continued to refuse a refund. I am out thousands of dollars for a five night stay. Beware of any of his properties.

great place, old but clean, it was the winter and cold in the common areas (kitchen and bathroom) but a space heater was provided for the room. Charlie is very nice and responsive, kept amenities stocked. the bed was Soo comfy and came with many pillows. My only real problem was there were at least 4 tenants to one bathroom so sometimes I would have to pee very badly in the morning when someone was in the shower.

Charlie’s place is in a quiet little neighborhood in u district with easy access to the main area via a bus. I enjoyed my stay and I’d stay there again next time I’m in Seattle!

It was a nice quiet neighborhood to stay in. The rooms and house were completely clean and Charlie was extremely responsive and accommodating.
