This is place is a slice of French heaven. It's beautiful, peaceful and extremely comfortable. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves, it might be busier normally, we can't judge. But the week we spend was just the absolute best possible.

This house is adorable from the outside, and is nestled in a wooded property 10 minutes from Etang-sur-Arroux. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bed linens were exceptional. Unfortunately, the wifi didn't work, despite it being listed as an amenity. The tv also had no remote and was unusable. This was unexpected, and a problem for our group. Note that there is no dining room table (only a high bar to eat at around the sink). As we had a reduced mobility person in our group, we had to use the outside garden table and chairs for every meal, as there was no other solution. The grounds are not at all suitable for wheelchairs or reduced mobility guests -- and the pool is completely inaccessible to them. Maggy was nice, but was quite busy and answers to our questions took some time (both before and during our stay). Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and this house would be perfect for visitors without connectivity needs and for those that are more flexible for eating arrangements.
