A great little cottage that’s well equipped and homely in a fab location. Well worth a walk to Shere too.

A nice cottage that's cozy, whether you want to chill at home (or in the garden in the sunshine) or wander down to the two pubs a few hundred yards away it's a great location. There's a Budgens shop a very short walk away and a petrol station half a mile or so away too so it means you're sorted for the essentials and fuel. A lovely welcome loaf of bread and some milk was a lovely touch, thank you so much to the hosts. Small things like that mean loads after a days travelling. A small note (It didn't bother me) but there is no parking as such, only on the road out the front. So if someone else is there you have to park further away. So be prepared to nip in the bus stop unload and move off. Again not a problem for me but if you need to unpack a lot of stuff it's good to know, but we had no probs at all! Well, apart from the weather! But I will say that even with it raining, listening to the rain and the river with the window open in the evening was lovely!

Everything felt welcoming and well-organised and we had a perfect stay. We were two friends with a small dog. Gomshall is perfectly located for walking North Downs Way, Leith Hill, Shere etc and easy to find. Felt very welcomed when we discovered Prosecco, milk and bread in fridge. Good sized kitchen/diner and spacious sitting room. Two comfy bedrooms with space to layout suitcase contents, too. Unexpectedly quiet and peaceful, despite proximity to A25. Lovely to have stream run past house. Budgens was almost next door so easy to buy sandwiches for lunch. We had a very good supper at Gomshall Mill. Recommended. Thank you Gavin & Glenys.

Absolutely loves this place! me and my friends stayed here just for a night but it's was so lovely. I loved the stream in the garden. the location was perfect! we went to the Gomshall mill for dinner which was lovely. Lovely places near by. Thank you, I will be back.

Fantastic place to stay - if you want a few days walking the North Down Trail and the Surrey Hills.
