We had an enjoyable weekend in Jamestown using Jennifer’s comfortable apartment as a base. An older property that does have some minor rough edges, we found it very comfortable and clean. The amount of toiletries available is outstanding if you forget something, no worries, Jennifer thought of it We had no plans on taking meals here, so the very basic (hotplate) cooking facilities had no impact on us. The cupboards are well stocked with all the basics. While the description of the bedroom was “cozy” we have been in smaller ones, a comfortable bed, and a surprising lack of road noise allowed for very restful sleeping. Jennifer pulled into her driveway just as we pulled up in front of the building, so we had a chance to say hello to her and her son. We did have a question and her response to our message was instantaneous. Just a two-minute walk up the road, the Coffee Cup is a very friendly spot for a great breakfast. A lot of things to do made our weekend full.

I met Jennifer when o got there. She was wonderful. Only complaint was that there was no hot water in the shower. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable and she made checkin easy.

Overall, staying at this place was okay. The host was doing some work in the space, so some of its functionality was different. There was a lamp in the bathroom rather than an overhead light. The shower was a little strange, but it worked to use it for one night. There was only a fan to keep cool in the bedroom at night, but it worked okay. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have the availability of a refrigerator, and I liked how there was a filtered water container in it. The check-in/check-out procedure was straightforward enough. It was actually an overall spacious amount of room in the place that I booked. The location was good to the sightseeing I did, so I'm somewhat open to staying there again.
