Cynthia was an amazing host. The apartment was exactly what we expected, with all the amenities needed, in a very secured compound. The location is also great, close to many places to visit. I would recommend and will definitely come back for my next trip in Mombasa.

This is my second time booking with Cynthia, and I completely recommend you book with her. The place was exactly like the pictures, it was in a very peaceful and beautiful gated neighborhood. There was a clean pool and basketball court available as well. Cynthia truly went above and beyond for us, she was extremely responsive and arranged our travel coming from the train. If you are new to Mombasa you should know that it is very humid, although our place has fans inside it can be very hot. Cynthia’s place has fresh clean water in the showers and the kitchen, and she also has a fountain which she refilled for us frequently. If you are thinking of booking with her I highly recommend it.

My husband and I loved our stay at Cynthia's apartment despite some hick-ups at the beginning of our stay, which were promptly sorted out, eg, power challenges. It was exactly as described. However, we did not love the environment it was in. It will be very helpful if Airbnb should provide actual locations before one commits to pay. The host is very kind, responsive, and helpful. I would 💯 recommend this host to anyone looking for a good stay at Bamburi

Spent a month at Cynthia’s place in Mombasa with my fiancé, and we were genuinely impressed. The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos suggested. The entrance and security were easy yet modern. Throughout our stay, Cynthia was like a friend, always checking in, offering local tips, and helping us out. She organized our train transfers with a taxi and even bought faster Wi-Fi speed for my Zoom meetings. And supplied us with extra water for the fountain. Inside, everything felt new and worked perfectly. We loved chilling in front of the big TV, catching some air on the balcony, and lounging on the comfy couches. There was a minor issue with the occasional smell of smoke from the neighborhood’s trash burning, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. The water was super clean, and overall, the vibe was just right. It's definitely worth the price. Cheers to Cynthia for making our stay special!
