We have a little slice of heaven along the Grand River, we call One Grand Place, in unincorporated Grand Haven at the end of private road. Perfect place to unwind, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Very private and peaceful but lots to do in and around Grand Haven, as well. Our SylvanSport Go, the coolest pop up tent camper ever, would be set up and ready for you for upon arrival. It's that simple. NOTE: We are new to this platform but are seasoned hosts on another platform for the last 3 years. So, if you wan to see our reviews, just search One Grand Place in your web browser and it should pop up. The other platform we offer just the land to bring your own RV. Here we are offering the same beautiful spot but with accommodations instead for those that don't have an RV or tent and want to camp. ---- Our Sylvan Sport Go tent camper is situated on one of three very spacious sites we have along the Grand River that has electric and water. Both sites are on same property along the water with a good distance between so it still evokes a feeling of exclusivity and privacy. Definitely not like a typical campground. Our Sylvan Sport Go tent camper is basically an elevated tent so you are not sleeping on the ground. It sleeps 2-4 people comfortably (2 adults, 2 kids). One person can sleep in each of the pop outs and the center section converts down to more sleeping area. So combined, it is a king and a half size bed for 4 people, if needed. Sylvan is open and airy with many windows for viewing and plenty of ventilation that can be closed off for privacy and less breeze if desired. The exterior features an extended canopy tent for shade or rain protection,. Sylvan has a storage net in the ceiling and a storage organizer along the back wall to hold and keep your things organized. The center table pieces are extremely versatile. Create and eating table, nightstand between the beds or a king and a half size bed. We will need to know what your configuration you will need when making a reservation. Being that our site has electric and water we have included a water hose, extension cord and a power strip to keep you connected and power your devices or our rechargeable ceiling fan light. Note: we do not have Wifi so you would be operating off of your own hotspot. To add to the enjoyment of your camping experience, there is a full size grill in the common area for your use if you don't have your own camp stove/grill. At your site you will have your own private fire ring and picnic table. You will need your own sleeping bags/blankets pillows, etc. Bathroom - Our Sylvan Sport Go does NOT have a bathroom on board. However, we have a very clean Porta Potty brought in from Memorial Day through September serviced weekly and stocked with TP and hand sanitizer. We also have an open air changing/shower room with solar shower bags available for use. Water - Water spigot available at each site on post for RV hose attachment. Water supply comes from onsite well, professionally installed. Suitable for washing, bathing, cooking, etc. However, due to being well water, the taste is not always desirable. For drinking, we strongly suggest to bring your own bottled water. The Great Outdoors - Most of the time there is a nice breeze coming off the water which keeps the bugs away. However, being on water and in a wooded environment the bugs tend to come out more at dusk/evening when it is more still and calm or on a very humid, less breezy day. Hang out around the fire ring or have bug spray on hand.
