I had a short trip for a research project; Retha and the lovely doggos were accommodating and gracious hosts—a lovely spot for a solo traveler.

Retha is an amazing person and that makes her a naturally good host. She was proactive in her communication and willingness to accommodate you as a guest. The apartment is well equipped, there is a nice seperate kitchen and lounge area, the bedroom is large and spacious. The bath and toilet being in the room is a case of what you see is what you get, it's not bad if you are staying alone (could be awkward for couples or mates sharing). The is emergency lights for load shedding, plenty of sockets to plug in all your devices. Kitchen is well stocked of you want to lean into the self catering aspect. The house and grounds are beautiful and quiet, there is large garden to enjoy and with amazing views. There are three dogs on the property but they are sweet and very passive, so even for someone who doesn't have thier own dogs it shouldn't be a problem.

Friendly and helpful Service. Clean and tidy place. Calm green view of grass and trees. For me this open plan shower/toilet/bedroom was perfect - my only reservation would be for couples who are not comfortable with a toilet in the bedroom - hey people, look at the photos. What you see is what you get. I enjoyed my stay and had non of the problems I had experienced at some other AirBnBs.
