Nice place to rest your head after a long day. Friendly neighbors and a close walk to main street, grocery store or brew pub. Currently a shared entry through the back door but apartment has its own locked entry.

We attended the annual bird festival and found this to be the perfect location. It was within walking distance of the major group events, a grocery store, and nearby restaurants. The apartment was wonderful, nicely decorated, well stocked, and clean. Howard was fun to visit with and knowledgeable about birding in the area. We enjoyed our stay!

Burns is a pretty small town. Broadway (the main street) is only 3 blocks away. Safeway is 3 houses and a street crossing away. So, walking is an option. There is a Dial-a-Ride service in town and a public bus route. Also a few taxi services. But most drive to their locations. Parking is not a problem.

Rosie, my wife of 28 years and I have lived in Burns since August 1995. We love it here. It is a quiet small town where you get to know almost everyone. The scenery here is awesome, from the Steens Mountains to the Malheur National Forest, there is plenty of outdoors things to do. Rosie has an online sale business and I recently retired from the US Forest Service as a wildlife biologist. Together we manage this little business adventure.
