Jose's cottage is a charming spot! It's located on his property above the garage. The porch is wonderful and relaxing and great for bird-watching in the mornings. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! There are a few minor things that could greatly improve the place. Little things like a bunch of lights not working or not having bulbs, there being only one bagged trash can (in the kitchen) and one basket in the bathroom. Minor inconveniences that added up and could easily be remedied. The place is above Jose's garage. There were often sounds from below fairly early in the morning (motorcycle starting, howling dog). The birds are quite loud too, but I enjoyed waking up to them. Finally, there is an additional tax fee due outside of the payment through airbnb. Airbnb doesn't handle this tax in Hawaii. It's noted in the listing, but it's easy to miss and wasn't mentioned until the day before arrival. Jose was very straightforward, businesslike, and agreeable.

Das Häuschen befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse, am Hang eines Hügels. Parkmöglichkeit im Hof, direkt vor der Unterkunft. Waschmaschine und Trockner befinden sich in der Garage, unter der Wohnung. Strandtücher, Strandstühle und Tafeln für Bodysurfen sind vorhanden. Der Vermieter (mit einem sehr freundlichen und schmusigen Hund) wohnt nebenan, er ist sehr nett und leicht zu kontaktieren.

Great place to stay and an easy location to get around to everything. Jose was very responsive with anything that we needed. Place was clean and easy to have kids there. Would stay again.

Beautiful property! We loved staying in Jose’s place. It’s open, airy and has a great view of Diamond Head and wonderful mango and banyan trees that house a small flock of green parrots to enjoy. We loved having the breeze flow through the home. Made for very peaceful sleeping. Jose is a great host and he gave us lots of tips of private beaches and great restaurants that made for a very special vacation. Highly recommend staying here!!
