By far the best hotel/villa we’ve ever stayed in! Stunning place, every little detail has been thought through and taken care of, from the design to service - we felt in paradise and didn’t want to leave! Marc is the best host we’ve ever had - so helpful, thoughtful, caring - almost reading your mind! The food was so delicious and beautiful - it will be hard for us to go back home. If you’re visiting Costa Rica - absolutely the best place - don’t miss out! Thank you Marc for sharing your stunning place with us - what a magical place!

This boutique hotel was absolutely incredible in every way. A perfect nest for couples looking to recharge in an upscale, sophisticated boutique hotel. We can’t say enough great things - excellent breakfast, incredibly kind hosts and what a beautifully designed place. The focus on every detail was incredible. A little hard to find but just follow the paved road to the dirt road and go straight it will be in your right about 200 yards on your right. .

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wundervoll! Das Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt, neu, modern und der Gastgeber war genial und äusserst zuvorkommend. Es fühlte sich wie ein Paradies an und verdient definitiv mehr als 5 Sterne. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, da es ein wahrer Traum war. Wasser konnte direkt ab den Wasserhahn genossen werden, Strand- und Poolbadetücher, geniales Frühstück und Verpflegung, entspannende Musik, schönes Ambiente mit tollem Licht, und noch vielem mehr! Vielen Dank für diese wundervolle Oase und den lieben Service. Mehr als empfehlenswert - ist ein Muss :-)

Had an incredible visit! Wonderful hosts that are extremely helpful, make delicious meals whenever you need, helpful and responsive via text and even installed shutters for shade in the room when we arrived. Definitely recommend staying here! Also, the lighting in the room and the aesthetic was amazing.

Book it now! Vayu as well as it’s “parents” majorly took us by surprise. Our main reason for visiting Vayu and Tres Ríos was to find a convenient place to return to after exploring the wildlife in the Corcovado National Park. What we booked as an “afterthought” quickly became the highlight of our trip to the Osa Península (this means a lot considering the animals we encountered on our visit ). Raff and Marc are incredible hosts and beautiful human beings. They made us feel right at home, and we felt as if we had known them for years. The hotel itself if beautiful while quaint and surrounded by lush forest - such a magical place to wake up to in the mornings while sipping on delicious coffee. The rooms are SPARKLING clean (coming from a clean freak) with very very unique features that would have required special attention to detail. For instance, the hotel has “smart rooms,” which feature adjustable coloured lights and aroma therapy scents to suit your individual needs. The bed is VERY comfy with silk sheets, and you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the river. Further, there is an AC with a de-humidifier and even a steamer to keep your clothes fresh during your travels. There is ample room to hang your clothes, as well as a safe for your valuables. On our visit to the hotel, we saw many species of beautiful birds and parrots, and in Corcovado, we saw a dolphin, wild pigs, several species of monkeys, coatis, a large Boa Constrictor, and TWO Tapirs (endangered and unique to this area of the world). The hotel is also close to surfing in Uvita and yummy eats in Ojochal for all of you foodies. Speaking of food, we also want to give a shout out to their amazing and humble chef, Jonathon (the breakfasts were our favorite!), as well as others who work on the premises and keep the hotel and salt-water pool in exceptional condition. The hotel is brand new and an outdoor entertainment area is still in progress so there are some areas under construction (which did not affect us at all). Our only regret is not staying here longer. We were so bummed out that we had pre-booked our next stay across the country because we just wanted to experience this beautiful little “Santorini in Costa Rica” for longer. We can’t wait to see what this jewel evolves into, and we look forward to finding out as we are already booking our next trip. Marc and Raff worked incredibly hard to make this experience perfect for you. Although a selfish part of me wants to keep this place a secret, I highly highly recommend this gem!
