Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Sotres ! La maison offre une vue exceptionnelle, est très confortable et est idéalement placée pour découvrir la partie centrale des Pics d'Europe. Carlos a été plein de petites attentions et la communication a été très facile. Nous reviendrons !

We couldn't believe our eyes when we opened the shutters on our first morning here! The view of the mountains is spectacular from this lovely cosy, traditional homestead - and we never got used to it. Every morning was a fresh joy! Sara and Carlos's house is warm, cosy, homely and full of character. With an outside bench at the front which is a suntrap, and a huge fireplace with plentiful wood to make a roaring fire if the weather turns cold. We hardly used the car for the week we were here, as there are some nice restaurants in the village, and a shop where you can buy bread etc. Lots of walks through the mountains start from here. There is a little information kiosk by the main carpark in the town, with a very helpful guide who recommended some great hikes for our group's ages and ability (we are a family of four, with two young teens). Also, everything in the town was open all through Easter week. Sara and Carlos were warm, responsive hosts. Any issues dealt with quickly

We had a great time in Carlos' house. There are many hiking options around Sotres and it was always nice to come home and fire up the chimney (and sometimes the barbecue, too). The house is equipped with everything you need and there are some restaurants in Sotres as well, if you are too tired to cook after hiking. I can definitely recommend this place.

Sotres is een prachtig en rustig bergdorp in de periode dat wij er waren. Er zijn tal van prachtige wandelingen in de omgeving. Als je er echt even uit wil voor je rust en in een zeer mooie omgeving wilt zijn is het huisje van Carlos een absolute aanrader.
