Aziz' place is modern, well equipped and taken care of very well. Both the caretaker and the cleaning person do a stellar job, are very friendly and always available. Aziz himself is also very responsive and kind (e.g., we did not have to pay for a night extra after our flight was postponed) and things work well, even if he is not in the country himself. The apartment is also cool, given that there is always a nice wind, so we barely had to use the available AC units. If there is something to criticize, it is just that the apartment is in a new neighborhood that is a little hard to find and has a lot of construction going on. I am sure, however, this will be done in a couple of months. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay in this place and will attempt to book it again when we are going together to Senegal.

Host is nice but I have to be honest. My mom took a taxi to the Airbnb. The driver was lost so we called the host for clear directions to the property. The taxi driver said to us “this place is not easy to get to.” It took us about 10 mins driving in the back roads to find the Airbnb-VERY remote from the restaurant, boutiques, and cab drivers. Entering the Airbnb, we noticed the place was beautiful but not at all alike to the APT we had seen on Airbnb. We were in a completely different APT. Here’s what we found: - The bathrooms were dirty. I noticed that the toilet had dried urine around it. I told the house maid that all 3 bathrooms were dirty, and she responded “no?” I showed her the evidence of urine and feces. she ended up cleaning only 2 out of 3 bathrooms. - The 2nd bedroom balcony did not lock at all (BEWARE!) so my mom and I slept in the same room for safety precautions. - Lastly, the blankets had white stain on them, so we slept coverless. We left the very next morning!
