Welcome to the „Mar e Dunas“ home - a modern apartment situated right in front of the ocean. Its bedroom and light-filled living room with a modern kitchen are both ocean-facing and are connected by a spacious patio to enjoy the sunset over the protected dunes. It is an ideal place to stay for a couple or two friends. We woud love to welcome you to this charming little oceanside town and are looking forward to meet you! Designed in a simplistic fashion with attention to detail, it has all the necessary amenities you’ll need during your stay, including your own dishwasher and washing machine. Just a 1-minute walk away from the beach it’s perfectly situated for your holidays at the Portuguese Atlantic coast - beach towels, parasol, bodyboards, beachball rackets and much more are provided for your discretionary use.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Simones Wohnung. Es war alles vorhanden und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Man ist in ein paar Minuten in den Dünen und am Strand. Bar/Restaurant und kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Simone has a wonderful apartment and we felt right at home. It‘s in a calm and peaceful little town, located right next to the ocean, and very clean. We couldn‘t have picked a better apartment and can totally recommend this Airbnb.

We had a fantastic stay here! Simone‘s parents were super nice and helpful! The apartment has everything you need. It is very spacious and close to the beach! If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the place to go!
Foi uma estadia maravilhosa. A Simone esteve sempre disponível e pronta a atender as nossas necessidades. O apartamento tem uma localização quase em cima da praia, e a vila em redor é muito simpática.

Praia da Tocha is a cute little beach town boasting of Portuguese tradition and culture. It remains one of the last places in the country where artisanal fishing is still practiced but is also known for its great surfing waves for beginners and advanced surfers. The wide beach is supervised during the summer months and has a lively vibe of little beachside restaurants, bars and shops. The town further hosts a surf school and has a newly built padel court and football pitch. If you feel adventureous we suggest to hop on the bike and explore the surroundings (bikes can be rented at small surcharge).

Hello there! We are the Fernandes Family – originally from around here our parents moved to Switzerland when they were young. And now, 30 years later we have made our dream come true and moved back to this beautiful oceanside town called Praia da Tocha – at least for some weeks of the year :-). We’re a family of four and we enjoy sunbathing and sports during the day as well as big family meals and long, passionate discussions in the evening. We want to make you feel about this place the same as we do and therefore do our best to make your stay here unforgettable :)
