Contempory open plan barn conversion in the idylic Gers countryside. Peaceful with scenic views all around. Large covered terrace with table for outside dining, and comfortable seating area for reading or having an evening apero. Overlooking the salt water swimming pool, with sun loungers and umbrellas. The beautiful village of Lectoure is only 10mins drive away, with all its commerce, restaurants, bars and a weekly market. There is also a large supermarket only 8 minutes drive away. The property is very spacious (150m2) and has a double height ceiling in its open plan living/kitchen/dining area. As it stands at the moment the ceiling is not painted but this in no way affects the comfort of the house. There is a king size sofa bed in the corner. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and bath. The twin bedroom is bright and sunny and there is a second shower room. The terrace is huge and offers shade at the hottest times of the day and is private and not overlooked.

Endroit calme, propice au repos et à la détente. Très bien situé pour profiter de Lectoure. Debbie est une hôte charmante et discrète, le logement est très propre et spacieux
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Debbie. Le lieu est calme et paisible, nous avons bien profité de l’équipement de la maison ainsi que de la piscine. Debbie est une hôtesse discrète et disponible. Enfin le village de Lectoure, à dix minutes de voiture, propose tous les commerces et restaurants nécessaires.
Nous venons de passer un super séjour chez Debbie et Christian qui sont des hôtes adorables et très discrets. Mention spéciale pour leur chien qui est adorable et a charmé toute la famille ! La grange rénovée est parfaite,la piscine superbe et le cadre magnifique et reposant,tout ce que nous aimons. Merci pour ces vacances de rêve !
We had a wonderful stay! Debbie had gotten us some things for breakfast, that was so thoughtful and kind. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and the pool is amazing! The house is surrounded by sunflower and cornfields, and the view is beautiful. We will definitely be back again!
Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait, cadre extrêmement reposant dans cet ancien corps de ferme rénové avec beaucoup de goût, équipé avec pleins de petites attentions sans qu’il ne soit surchargé d’affaires. On se sent comme chez soi dans ce logement digne de magazine comme maisons de campagne. Piscine superbe également. Et Debbie s’est montré extrêmement gentille et discrète tout en restant tout à fait disponible. Il y a de jolis petits villages à proximité immédiate avec bons restaurants. Et des ventes directs de fruits et légumes sur la route de lectoure. Un musée du miel… Bref nous espérons pouvoir revenir. Un grand merci!

Our house is nestled in the beautiful Gers countryside. You can gain access to the famous Chemin de Compostelle directly from the property giving loads of opportunities for walks and bike riding on the GR system. There is also a swimming Lake in St.Clar, only 15 mins drive, with water slides, a beach and restaurant and café. There is another lovely lake in Casterera Verduzan, 30 mins away, also with a lovely beach, snack bar, pedelos, water slide and childrens aqua bouncy play area.

I am English married to an American. We moved from London to this idyllic spot 18 years ago with our 2 children, who have since flown the nest. My husband, who is an architect, works from the converted cow barn. I love animals, enjoy riding, walking, eating, drinking, reading and laughing.
