Iain was a very welcoming and helpful host, who made our experience at the cottage a pleasure. He communicated with us very well from the start supplying everything that we will need through out our stay. The lack of kitchen is communicated from the get go so there were no problems. But make sure that you are aware before you book. Overall the cottage was perfectly clean and has everything we needed. Highly recommended!

We had the grandparents visit us and they absolutely loved the place! Everything was clean and tidy and Iain was an incredible host! Can only recommend!

Iain's cottage is a little haven in the countryside. It's beautifully furnished and maintained with everything you need for a short stay including a small fridge, coffee machine and a kettle for tea (tea,milk and sugar was also provided). The welcome basket with biscuits, oatmeal and wine was a special touch. Wifi is great for the long distance zooms I had to do. The cottage is only an 8 min drive (which is beautiful) to the center of St Andrews, if that's where you need to be. Iain and his family couldn't have been lovelier and I will certainly return.

A lovely little cottage just a couple of minutes up the road from St Andrews. A perfect alternative to the expensive hotels in town.
