O Templário Sonolento (The Sleepy Templar) is a renovated historical home at the foot of Convento de Cristo right in the heart of the historical center of Tomar. Walk to all the main attractions: the convent, Praça da República, the Synagogue, museums, the azulejos factory, churches and the river Nabão. Many restaurants and shops nearby. The house has air conditioning, 2 bedrooms, both with their own bathroom ensuite, and a fully equipped kitchen. The perfect place for your visit to Tomar! The house is a cute townhouse with a ground floor living room with air conditioning and heating . On the second floor is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, including a bathtub. The top floor is under the eaves and has two single beds with a completely new bathroom ensuite. The bedrooms also have air conditioning (heating and cooling). The house is on a narrow, charming pebbled street right behind the main town square and within a few minutes walk of all the attractions. Please note that there may be some noise from passing cars and people and there is a narrow winding staircase in the house.

Linda’s apartment was perfect for our family of 3. She was great at communicating with us, giving us perfect directions and tips on parking. Her place is centrally located and close to many tourist destinations and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. She even had coffee for us- an added plus. We highly recommend her place to other Airbnb guests.
This Airbnb is very well located- at the bottom of the fortress. You can walk everywhere in Tomar from it. There is a secured parking located very close to the place on the same street. Highly recommend the place.
Charming little place. Cozy sleeping areas -- we loved the loft. So close to everything, including the walk up the hill to the Convento. Nice little town. The Matchbox Museum was fun, and Don't Miss the ceramics workshop directly across from the MM door where you can watch the women making the ceramics and buy what you like. Watch for the giant ice cream cone down the street from the square -- great gelato. AND DON'T miss eating at TAVERNA ANTIGUA!!! A medieval experience!

O Templário Sonolento is located on an old narrow cobbled road at the foot of the Convento de Cristo, a few steps away from the Praça da Republica, right in the center of Tomar. There are many restaurants nearby, including a bakery and coffee shops. It's a 1 minute walk to the park and to the parking and a pleasant 10 minute walk to the convent. The river front is no more than 5 minutes on foot.
It is best to park your car, either in the car park (Parkhouse), very near the house or along the streets for the duration of your stay, as you can easily walk to the main attractions of Tomar. Free parking is also available at the Judicial da Comarca (5 mins walk).
