We felt right at home from the moment we stepped inside. It was exactly like the pictures. We had two 2 and a half year olds and they enjoyed the trampoline and the wooden house feature, although it needs adult supervision for kids that young. The house was equipped with all the major necessities.

Likes: The house is modern and better than the photos. It has a very nice braai area with stacking doors opening to the lounge/TV area. The listing only show 2 bedrooms (in the photos @ Where you'll sleep), but there is 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (we only used 2 bedrooms). Large double garage with a door to the house - convenient for packing and if you have dogs they can sleep in the garage. The house is pet friendly (main reason why we booked). Second main reason for our booking was the Lagoon Retreat and 2 or 3 photos (showing the lagoon)...and Scenic view showing "Lake view". Dislikes: The listing name is misleading (and the Lake view ticked in the Amenities). We were well aware that Fisherhaven is not in Hermanus (18km drive), but was disappointed with the location because you do not even have a view of the Lagoon (not sure why it is called Lagoon retreat and why the Lake view is mentioned) . It is walkable (1km-1.5km). Nightly charge for pets very high.

Had a great stay. Place was clean and big, Jungle gym was a bit dangerous for our 2 year old, other than that. Perfect

Very nice modern place with lots of space. Kids loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in the garden while we were sitting next to the braai. We just booked a single night, would definitely extend it next time.
